Kick’s Bar and Grill

Stop for a bite to eat at Kick’s Bar and Grill! Located on the north side of Towanda, this restaurant has established itself as a popular dining destination for both locals and travelers alike. Since 2004, Kick’s has served up hearty, no-frills American bar food right on historic Route 66. When the weather’s nice, there’s outdoor patio seating — perfect for relaxing under the sun, watching bikes, cars, and Route 66 adventurers roll by.

If you feel like stretching your legs after your meal, cross the street and walk south on the historic Route 66 alignment, which is now a pedestrian and bicycle path. This 1.6-mile stretch of former road is lined with educational kiosks and Burma Shave signs. The walking tour has fliers printed in several languages for international tourists.
